Com'è andata alla marcia sul clima di Roma/How it went at the climate march in Rome

Ieri alla manifestazione sul clima è andata ... benino! 

Da un punto di vista tecnico, lo striscione  tendeva a piegarsi al centro e la bella immagine non era sempre visibile. A proposito, ringrazio Giuseppe Stafferini per averla disegnata! E' stata interamente sua l' idea di aggiungere le mani, che suggeriscono l'idea che il nostro pianeta sia un dono da curare e mantenere.

Non eravamo moltissimi alla manifestazione (forse 8000?) e si notava un certa mestizia. Dovuta ai fatti di Parigi, certamente, ma anche alla convinzione che i capi di stato che ora si stanno incontrando a Parigi difenderanno soprattutto le economie dei loro Paesi, ancora fortemente dipendenti da fonti fossili e non-rinnovabili.

In effetti, oggi è cominciato già il balletto delle dichiarazioni "positive". Tutti stanno annunciando di aver destinato dei fondi a favore delle energie rinnovabili. Ma nessuno annuncia un piano di ritiro dal petrolio e dalle altre fonti fossili. Il nostro Presidente del Consiglio, Matteo Renzi, proclama che l' Italia è all'avanguardia del foto-voltaico ma tace completamente sul progetto di trivellazione al largo delle Isole Tremiti, nel mare Adriatico, che sarebbe la rovina di un eco-sistema e di un paesaggio così belli e così fragili da meritare ben altri tipi di investimento.

Per non parlare di un impegno dell' Europa a fianco della Francia nella guerra contro l'Isis (Daesh), impegno che Renzi sta saggiamente cercando di rallentare. Molti slogans della manifestazione mettevano in luce di come una guerra costituisca un impatto ambientale inostenibile per il pianeta, non solo in termini di perdita di vite umane.

Torniamo però a noi Focusers. Ieri alla manifestazione sono stata fermata da Claudia e da una sua amica, che mi conoscevano dai gruppi CHANGES che si tengono presso l' Associazione Serendipita. Ho fatto un po' di manifestazione insieme a loro. 

Poi c' è stata una giornalista che è venuta vicino allo striscione e dopo averlo filmato ha esclamato: "Ah, ma io conosco il Focusing! Anzi, ora mi ricordo che devo ridare a una mia amica il libro di Gendlin!"

In alcune delle foto che ho inserito nel mio profilo Facebook mi vedete con in mano una foglia verde, il simbolo voluto da papa Francesco, #unaterraunafamiglia, che dice "I pray that together we act to protect ...". Al posto dei puntini si doveva inserire qualcosa che speriamo di non dover mai perdere a causa del cambiamento climatico. Io ho scritto sulla mia foglia "l'erba verde e umida sotto i miei piedi scalzi".

Yesterday at the event on climate chnge it went ...  quite well!

From a technical point of view, the banner tended to bend in the middle and beautiful image was not always visible. By the way, many thanks to Giuseppe Stafferini for having designed the image. It 's been entirely his the idea of ​​adding hands, suggesting the idea that our planet is a gift to care for.

We were not many at the event (maybe 8000?) and you could see a certain sadness. Due to the events in Paris, certainly, but also the belief that the Heads of State who are now meeting in Paris will defend especially the economies of their countries, still heavily dependent on fossil fuels and non-renewable sources of energy.

In fact, today  everyone is announcing the allocation of funds to support renewable energy. But no one announces a plan to withdraw from oil and other fossil fuels. Our Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi, announces that “Italy is at the forefront of the photo-voltaic” but is completely silent on the drilling project off the Tremiti Islands in the Adriatic Sea, which would be the ruin of an eco-system and a landscape so beautiful and so fragile that it would clearly deserve better types of investment. Not to mention a commitment of Europe alongside France in the war against Isis (Daesh) commitment that Renzi is wisely trying to avoid. Many slogans at the climate march brought to light how a war constitutes an impact insostenibile for the planet, not only in terms of loss of life.

But let us return to us Focusers. Yesterday at the event I was stopped by Claudia and her friend, who knew me from the CHANGES that take place at the Association Serendipity. I did some of the walk with them.

Then there was a journalist who came close to the banner only to explain "Ah, but I know Focusing! In fact, I remember now that I have to give back to my friend's the book by Gendlin!"

In some of the photos that I posted into my Facebook profile you see me holding a green leaf, the symbol by Pope Francis, #unaterraunafamiglia, saying "I pray that together we act to protect ...". After that, you had to insert something we hope to never have to lose because of climate change. I wrote on my leaf "green, damp grass under my bare feet."
